Age of applicants:  Mothers must be 49 years old or younger at the time of the adoption. The father may be over this age if the mother is under it.

Single applicants:  Single women are welcome to apply.

Divorce status:  Single parents or married persons may only have two divorces per person.

Citizenship: All applicants (both husband and wife in a married couple) must be US citizens by birth. Unfortunately, the documentation required by Kazakh authorities when one parent is a citizen, but not by birth, is virtually impossible to obtain.

Health of applicants: Serious health conditions are restricted, please check with our staff in regard to specific situations.

Mental Health history: Chronic mental health conditions are restricted, please check with our staff in regard to specific situations. 

Criminal history: Serious criminal records are restricted, please check with our staff in regard to specific situations.

Please note that applicants who meet these criteria are not guaranteed approval.  Each applicant is evaluated and approved on a case by case basis.
